Tested and approved to the Swedish NT FIRE 017 Diskette fire test the 2001k and 2001e provide up to 60 minutes fire protection while the medium sized models 2002k, 2002e, provide 90 minutes with the largest models, 2003k and 2003e each provide up to 120 minutes fire protection.
Standard models are fitted with a high security dimple key lock supplied with two keys while models ending "e” are secured by an electronic combination lock powered by 4 x AAA batteries (not included). The electronic lock includes allows for a PIN code between 4 - 16 digits and includes a manufacturer master re-set code in case of lock out.
The Phoenix Datacare 2000 Series utilises a double door construction with double water resistant seals on inner door ensuring the internal temperature of the safe does not exceed 52°C, the temperature at which data media will begin to corrupt.
